The town of Princeton will apply for funding for a WildSafeBC community coordinator.
At the council meeting on March 5, council approved the decision to apply for grant funding.
In 2024, Princeton received funding for the position, which runs from May to November and is managed by WildSafeBC.
The community coordinator delivers education and outreach in the community. Programs include door-to-door outreach, ranger presentations for students, wildlife awareness and safety presentations, bear spray workshops, booths at community events and bin tagging.
