Vernon is about to be seen on another big screen when film, The Recall, starring Wesley Snipes, makes its Okanagan premiere.

The Recall, produced by Minds Eye Entertainment, will make its Okanagan cast and crew premiere at the Kelowna Fan Xpo (KFX) March 25.

More than 200 invited guests involved with the film will reunite for the red carpet at the Kelowna Community Theatre, said Bonnie Gratz, artistic director of New Vintage Theatre and KFX.

Those who purchase the first 600 tickets to the pop culture expo will have the first opportunity to join the film香蕉视频直播檚 producers, cast and director Mauro Borrelli, who will be part of a panel following the screening.

One of Hollywood香蕉视频直播檚 premier visual artists, Borelli has worked on films such as The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Captain America, Star Wars: Episode VIII as well as Tim Burton香蕉视频直播檚 Sleepy Hollow, Planet of the Apes and Dark Shadows.

Written by Reggie Keyohara III and Sam Acton, The Recall is a sci-fi thriller about five friends vacationing at a remote lake house, unaware that planet Earth is under an alien invasion and mass-abduction.

The movie was shot for the new Barco Escape three-screen, panoramic theatrical format, which fully surrounds audiences and offers the ultimate immersive cinema experience. Portions of the films were also shot for virtual reality.

Besides Snipes (known for his roles in the Blade film trilogy), the film stars RJ Mitte (Breaking Bad), Jedidiah Goodacre (Descendants), Niko Pepaj (Awkward), Laura Maria Bilgeri (Toby Goes to Camp), and Hannah Rose May (Ballers).

Minds Eye Entertainment, which is part of a huge production boom the region has seen over the last year, is currently in production in Osoyoos on The Humanity Bureau, starring Nicolas Cage.

The KFX is entering its fourth festival year. Produced by New Vintage Theatre, the international pop culture festival brings together an impressive list of high profile performers, artists, gamers, cosplayers, designers and filmmakers.

Last year, more than 2,300 people took in two separate days of KFX programming.

This year香蕉视频直播檚 festival will kick off March 24 with Charles Ross香蕉视频直播� One Man Star Wars performance.

KFX producer Joe Otoo encourages everyone to not delay getting their tickets to both day香蕉视频直播檚 events.
