The Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs Downtown Youth Centre has received a donation from Tolko Industries, aimed at helping young people.
Tolko donated $3,000 to help young people access temporary shelter, have a hot and nutritious meal, reconnect with family members, talk with a mental health counsellor and, if needed, be supported to find long-term stable housing.
There have been 615 youth seeking the services of the Downtown Youth Centre in the past year.
