TELUS has gifted the KGH Foundation with two charging kiosks for use at the Kelowna hospital

A visit or stay Kelowna General Hospital can often come without warning and occur under stressful conditions.

Now thanks to TELUS, patients, staff and visitors to Kelowna General Hospital can charge their cell phones and electronic devices free of charge to ensure they are able to remain connected while onsite at KGH.

TELUS gifted the KGH Foundation with two charging kiosks, one conveniently located just outside the gift shop in the main Centennial building, the other can be found outside the intensive care unit in the Strathcona building at KGH. The charging stations are secure and easy to use.

Each can accommodate up to 10 devices, from smartphones to tablets.

Many patients and visitors to the hospital have expressed gratitude for the convenience provided by the TELUS charging stations.

The two kiosks, valued at $20,000, were funded as part of TELUS香蕉视频直播檚 Internet for Good campaign which aims to integrate technology with organizations providing vital services to the community.
