Okanagan College set to host PACWEST championships

The Okanagan College (OC) Coyotes basketball teams are getting set to host the PACWEST provincial basketball championships this weekend.

Both the Coyotes women香蕉视频直播檚 and men香蕉视频直播檚 teams are ranked sixth going into the tournament.

Starting on Thursday, Feb. 29 at Kelowna Christian School, the three-day championship will feature four games a day before concluding with the medal games on Saturday. The women香蕉视频直播檚 bracket will begin each day at 12:30 p.m. and conclude each night with the men香蕉视频直播檚 bracket at 8:00 p.m.

The Coyotes women香蕉视频直播檚 team will tip the tournament off at 12:30 p.m. against Abbotsford香蕉视频直播檚 CBC Bearcats while the men will meet the number three-ranked Langara College Falcons on Thursday at 8:00 p.m.

We are excited for this opportunity to welcome student-athletes from around B.C. to our region for the first time and look forward to a great PACWEST Championship.香蕉视频直播

On both the men香蕉视频直播檚 and the women香蕉视频直播檚 sides, the two teams in the finals automatically clinch berths to the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association香蕉视频直播檚 (CCAA) National Championship, which takes place in two weeks time.

This is the first time OC is hosting the basketball provincials.
