Kelowna Chiefs head coach Nick Deschenes has something new to add to his resume.
The 45-year-old has been named an assistant coach for the British Columbia Hockey Conference (BCHC) third annual prospects game, taking place on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at the George Preston Recreation Centre in Langley.
For the third consecutive event, Grand Forks Border Bruins head coach Dave Hnatiuk leads the coaching staff.
Going Deschenes as assistant coaches on the team are Chad Scharff (Fernie Ghostriders) and Geordie Wudrick (Creston Valley Thunder Cats).
The rosters for the game will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
