The lineup for thel features an array of emerging music artists from across B.C. and the country.
Headlining acts at the festival taking place Aug. 18 to 20 in Rock Creek include TorontoÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s Austra and Montreal-based Wolf Parade, plus from Vancouver Fake Shark, Bear Mountain, and Five Alarm Funk.
Organizers say Ponderosa is not your typical music festival. For five years, it has remained proudly independent, intimate, affordable, and extremely fresh. As an all ages event, everyone is welcome. From groups of friends dancing to late night DJs to toddlers playing in the grass in the midday sun.

Festival founders Kris Hargrave and Kia Zahrabi are encouraging people to scrap the lineups, the overpriced food, and sky-high ticket prices this summer and join them at Ponderosa.
Performances begin as the sun sets on Friday and run through Sunday night on two intimate stages.
