It's a sight to behold for skiers and snowboarders in Vernon, even though its only August.
Vernon's SilverStar Mountain Resort a blanket of snow at the mountain's summit and along one of its chairlifts Wednesday, Aug. 28.
"Well it's official... the first snowfall before the winter season!" the resort said, reminding folks that early bird prices on season passes are available until Sept. 30, and payment plans end on Aug. 31.
"Time to start dreaming of winter."
The Vernon Snowmobile Association also received some white stuff early Wednesday.
"We are not quite ready to open for August sledding but it's definitely an early snowfall!" the association said in a Facebook post.
