Two-thirds of Canadians fear for the financial future of their country and believe the economy is in poor standing, according to a recent survey.
Research.co polled more than 1,000 Canadians from April 7 to 9 on the financial well-being of the country and of their savings and investments. The firm found 68 per cent consider the country香蕉视频直播檚 economic conditions to be 香蕉视频直播減oor香蕉视频直播 or 香蕉视频直播渧ery poor香蕉视频直播, down four points from a February survey.
Meanwhile, 29 percent of Canadians rate the economic conditions as 香蕉视频直播渧ery good香蕉视频直播 or 香蕉视频直播済ood香蕉视频直播, down three points since February, and the lowest total measured in three years.
The poll also found 49 per cent of Canadians thought their personal financial situation was good versus 48 per cent who felt theirs was not. Additionally it says, over half of those surveyed were worried for their own savings accounts and investments.
Most Canadians believe prices will continue to rise in general and think there will not be a recovery within six months, according to the survey.
Research.co's survey also found that over half of the country (59%) did trust Mark Carney to improve the economy in the near future. Alternatively, 43 per cent of Canadians think Conservative Leader of Canada, Pierre Poilievre will do the same.
Mario Canseco, President of Research Co., believes the current rift between Canada and America has influenced its citizens to feel down on their dollars.
