In an attempt to keep busy during the COVID-19 pandemic, a group of South Surrey seniors have taken time to offer advice to a younger generation of local residents.

This month, a number of residents of Peninsula Retirement Residence (2088 152 St.) have created signs with their name, age and words of wisdom 香蕉视频直播� everything from 香蕉视频直播淪top and smell the roses香蕉视频直播� and 香蕉视频直播淪tart each day with a smile香蕉视频直播� to 香蕉视频直播淯se common sense香蕉视频直播� and 香蕉视频直播淒on香蕉视频直播檛 take yourself so seriously.香蕉视频直播�

The photos have been posted on the retirement community香蕉视频直播檚 so that others 香蕉视频直播� including, perhaps, family members who haven香蕉视频直播檛 been able to visit due to social-distancing rules 香蕉视频直播� can see.

The idea for the project came from the residence香蕉视频直播檚 recreation assistant Miranda Clark 香蕉视频直播� who is also a Peace Arch News environmental columnist 香蕉视频直播� who said she was simply looking for a way for seniors to stay busy and engaged, as many of the Peninsula香蕉视频直播檚 usual recreation programs, social hours and other activities have been cancelled due to COVID-19.

香蕉视频直播淚 came up with this idea as a way to unite the residents in this time of difficulty and give them something interesting to think about,香蕉视频直播� Clark said.

香蕉视频直播淎ctivities like this are great for bringing back old memories. In this time, I thought it would also be a great way to also show the important role of seniors in our community.香蕉视频直播�

Clark said despite the measures taken as a result of the pandemic, the seniors at the Peninsula are keeping their spirits up 香蕉视频直播� 香蕉视频直播淲e have been doing pretty well,香蕉视频直播� 香蕉视频直播� and they all understand and are accepting of the measures that have been taken, both at the residence and elsewhere, in light of the pandemic.

香蕉视频直播淓veryone is香蕉视频直播� smiling through it all, we are happy to be safe,香蕉视频直播� she continued, adding that the seniors are 香蕉视频直播渉appily spreading joy despite the fear and sadness of it all.香蕉视频直播�
