The Warriors trailed 3-1 after the first period, with Luciano Bruno scoring his second goal of the season for West Kelowna. Goaltender Dawson Labre was replaced by Jack Lisson less than five minutes into the second. By the end of the period, the Crusaders had extended their lead to 5-2, with Dylan Krayer netting his ninth goal of the season for West Kelowna.

Bruno scored again in the third period, marking his third goal of the season. However, an empty-net goal by Malachi McKinnon at 19:05 sealed the 6-3 win for Sherwood Park. The Warriors were outshot 26-25 and went 0-for-3 on the power play.
