The West Kelowna Warriors downed the hometown Chilliwack Chiefs 5-1 on Tuesday night to get the jump in the B.C. Hockey League's third round playoff series.
The Warriors, Chiefs and Nanaimo ClippersÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥”the three division champsÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥”are all involved in a double round robin, with the first two teams to three victories earning a spot in the B.C. final.
Quin Foreman, Liam Blackburn, Connor Sodergren, Jake Lebrun and Kylar Hope, into an empty net, scored for West Kelowna, while Matthew Greenfield stopped 32 shots in the Warrior net for his ninth win of the postseason.
The Warriors will return to action Thursday night at home to Nanaimo.
