Warriors advance to BCHL final

Kylar Hope scores in overtime Tuesday against Naniamo to send West Kelowna to championship series

The West Kelowna Warriors are headed to their first ever BCHL championship final.

Kylar Hope's second goal of the game at 19:03 of overtime pushed the Warriors to a 3-2 victory over the Nanaimo Clippers Tuesday at Royal LePage Place to close out the third round of the post season.

The Warriors will face the Chilliwack Chiefs in the best-of-seven BCHL final which begins Friday in Chilliwack.

In the three-team playoff format of division champs, the Chiefs and Warriors were the first two teams to reach three victories, while the Clippers, with just two, are eliminated.
