The 2025 Montana's Brier is officially underway in Kelowna.
A welcome march took place Feb. 27, starting from the Kelowna Visitor Info Centre to the Dolphins Statue at Rhapsody Plaza.
Kelowna Curling Club general manager Jock Tyre was thrilled to see volunteers, curlers, and Special Olympics come out to celebrate.
"I said if we ever get the Brier back we have got to have a parade," said Tyre, to the crowd following the march. "You guys did it for me, so thank you."
The first match-ups of the tournament start at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 28.
Taking to the rink first will be Manitoba-Carruthers against B.C., Canada versus Newfoundland, Northern Ontario against New Brunswick, and Alberta-Koe versus Manitoba-Dunstone.
Tickets to the games can be purchased at , or catch the match-ups broadcast live on TSN and Curling Canada Plus.
