The U15 girls (Greenhough) posted two wins and a pair of draws en route to winning the 2017 Ice Breaker soccer tournament in Lake Country.
United opened with a 2-2 tie against another Kelowna team, United (Manning).
Ashlyn Eisenkrein and Lindsay Goett scored for KU (G), while Llala Joseph and Chloe Howe, with just two minutes remaining in the game, scored for KU (M).
After a 0-0 draw with the Vernon U16 Selects, United then blanked the Nelson U16 Selects 3-0 to finish the round robin.
Kelowna goals came from Ashlyn Eisenkrein, Brianna Panagos, and Kaley Krivoshein.
In the gold medal game, Kelowna prevailed 1-0 over Shuswap.
Kelowna scored the only goal of the game minutes before the half when Kaley Krivoshein booted in a cross from Madison Dyck.
Also playing in the U16 girls division, the United U15 girls (Manning) also made it to the medal round undefeated with three draws. KU (Manning) then fell 2-0 to Prince George in the bronze medal game.

The Kelowna United boys V team lost its opener 1-0 to the Calgary MSB United Destroyers. Alec Miller was KelownaÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s game MVP.
United then lost 4-0 to Port Moody, with keeper Jacob Foerderer being named KelownaÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s MVP.
In their final game, the Kelowna boys lost 3-2 to Prince George. Jack Milligan, on pass from Michael Kraus, scored in he first half for United, while Riley Woolfall tallied in the second half.
