One goal, solid goaltending and a staunch defensive effort.
It was enough to send the Kelowna Rockets to victory in Game 3 of their WHL first-round playoff series.
Justin Kirkland scored the game's only goal and Michael Herringer stopped all 40 shots he faced, as the Rockets downed the Blazers 1-0 at a jam-packed Memorial Arena Tuesday night in Kamloops.
The Rockets now lead the best-of-seven series two games to one.
"Kudos to our whole team, from our goaltender out to get the victory, having scored only one goal on Connor Ingram," Crickard told AM 1150's Regan Bartel following the game.
Game 4 goes Wednesday night in Kamloops, with Game 5 set for Friday night at Prospera Place..
