Penticton is still talking about the thrilling BCHL All-Star Weekend and Frost Fest that brought a true Canadian winter vibe to the cityÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s downtown core on Saturday, Jan. 20.
Penticton Ï㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥” for the second year in a row Ï㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥” was in the spotlight on Jan. 20 for BCHL All-Star Weekend, the leagueÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s flagship event that attracted thousands of locals and tourists for a skills competition, alumni game and three-on-three tournament.
The leagueÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s brightest from across B.C. stars hit PentictonÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s outdoor rink for the hardest shot, fastest skater, breakaway relay and accuracy shooting challenges.
Surrey Eagle Caden Cranston took home the accuracy contest. Donovan Frias from Cranbrook Bucks won the hardest shot. Cole Melady was the fastest skater.

As for the three-on-three tournament, Caden Cranston from the Surrey Eagles was crowned MVP after leading Team Red to victory.
