The Kelowna Rockets are going to be without one of their star players for the rest of the season.
On Wednesday, Dec. 4, it was announced that Rockets forward Tij Iginla will miss the rest of the 2024-25 season after undergoing successful hip surgery.
Iginla's NHL team, the Utah Hockey Club first made the announcement, followed by the Rockets.

In 21 games played this season, the Lake Country native scored 14 goals and added 18 assists totalling 32 points.
