The Kelowna Rockets saw three different players find the back of the net but ultimately fell 6-3 to the Edmonton Oil Kings on Friday (Mar. 7) night at Rogers Place, as they closed out an eight-game road trip.

Dawson Gerwing (14) scored 58 seconds into the game giving the Rockets a 1-0 lead. Edmonton responded with two quick goals as Roan Woodward (20) and Jack Toogood (5) each found the net to put the Oil Kings ahead 2-1. Toogood香蕉视频直播檚 goal came on the powerplay.

Midway through the period Jakub Stancl netted his 20th of the season to even things up. Kelowna went up 3-2 two minutes later as Kanjyu Gojsic notched his seventh goal of the season. Edmonton made a goaltending change after that goal, pulling Ethan Simcoe, who allowed three goals on six shots, in favour of Parker Snell. The Oil Kings tied the game 3-3 with one minute left in the period as Landon Hanson (15) scored on the powerplay.

With no scoring in the second period, Edmonton took over in the third. Gracyn Sawchyn potted his 29th of the season, on the powerplay, putting the Oil Kings ahead 4-3 in what would stand as the game-winner. Woodward (21) added an insurance goal halfway through the period and complete his hat trick with an empty-net goal for the 6-3 win.

Edmonton outshot the Rockets 38-31, and went 3-for-7 on the powerplay while Kelowna was 0-for-5. 

The Rockets return to Prospera Place on Friday, March 14 to face the Kamloops Blazers.
