West Kelowna's Brock Hoel was a teenager on a mission.
The 15-year-old dominated all triathlon related events last weekend at the B.C. Summer Games in Abbotsford, winning four gold medals.
Competing for the Zone 2 Thompson Okanagan team, Hoel opened with a win in the boys super sprint triathlon, then followed up with gold medal performances in the duathlon, the aquathlon and the F1 triathlon.
Kelowna's Jaxon Slaney took home two gold medals in the girls F1 triathlon and the duathlon.
Connor Hobbs won a bronze in the boys aquathlon.
Ï㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥¢ Towed Water Sports
With Kelowna's Halle Gainey and Isaac Athans leading the charge, zone 2 water skiers piled up 11 medals.
Gainey won three gold medals and Athans added two gold and one bronze in the towed water sports competition last weekend.
In the 10 to 13 girls division, Gainey won the water skiing slalom and jump events, as well the wakeboarding event.
Athans took gold in the boys 10-13 slalom and jump events, while adding a bronze in the trick competition.
Anthony Kurkijan took home a pair of bronze medals in the 14-17 boys water ski slalom and trick events. Grace MacNaull won silver medals in the girls 10-13 wake boarding and wakeskate events, and bronze in the ski slalom.
As a team, Thompson Okanagan won the overall silver medal.
Other members of the zone 2 team are Brian Gainey, Nathan Tonogai, Anthony Kurkijan, Heming Sola, Courtney McDonald, Grace McNaull, Reece Hawthorn, and coaches Gary Athans, Pat Mulligan, Tera Gainey and Maercus Athans.

The Thompson Okanagan boys soccer team claimed the gold medal, defeating the Vancouver-Coastal team in a shootout.
The winning Zone 2 team included Kelowna's Ethan Kersche, Jagger Thomas, Cameron Wilson, Jonah Donahue, Ethan Cowan and Chris West, West Kelowna's Brennan Martin, Hunter Blucke and Joseph Parsons-Wright, and Yann Clamets from Peachland.

Phoebe Price-Roberts of Lake Country won gold in the girls hammer throw with a toss of 55.97 metres.
Kelowna's Madeline Hettinga won silver in the girls 200 hurdles.

Erin Epp and Brooklyn Semashkewich of Kelowna won silver with the Zone 2 4x50 girls relay team, while Ella Rolleston earned silver as a member of the zone's 4x50 medley team.
