In his nine games of junior A hockey last season, the West Kelowna Warriors liked a lot of what they saw from Wyatt Head.
For the 18-year-old defenceman, the feeling is mutual.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Kelowna product has committed to the Warriors for the 2017-18 B.C. Hockey League season.
香蕉视频直播淚 am super excited to be playing with a great organization in West Kelowna,香蕉视频直播 said Head. 香蕉视频直播淭hey香蕉视频直播檝e had great success in the past and continue to grow the program year after year and I香蕉视频直播檓 excited to be a part of it.香蕉视频直播
Head spent most last season with the Okanagan Rockets of the British Columbia Major Midget League, where he played in 37 games, scoring 12 goals and 39 points to go along with 20 penalty minutes.
With the Warriors he appeared in eight regular season and one playoff game against the Merritt Centennials.
香蕉视频直播淚 think it will definitely help having played quite a few games last year and practicing in West Kelowna,香蕉视频直播 continued Head. 香蕉视频直播淚 know most of the guys so I think that the feeling out process should take less time and hopefully that transfers into me having an impact right away.香蕉视频直播
Warriors head coach Rylan Ferster is happy to have Head on board for next season.
香蕉视频直播淗e香蕉视频直播檚 a very good young player that plays well at both ends of the ice,香蕉视频直播 said Warriors head coach and general manager Rylan Ferster. 香蕉视频直播淚n the games that Wyatt played with us this past season, he was poised with the puck and made good decisions without any hesitation.香蕉视频直播
