Kelowna's Aiden Borne was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma and will require treatment at B.C. Children's Hospital.

The call has gone out to help this Kelowna teenager in his fight against Lymphoma.

A fundraising dinner for Aiden Borne will be held this Friday night, from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Laurel Packinghouse.

The evening includes dinner, a cash bar, silent auction, raffle draws and dancing.

Aiden has been playing baseball this season with the Okanagan's A's bantam program.

He and his two brothers came up through the Rutland minor baseball program.

Tickets for the fundraiser are $20 each and can be purchased at the Edith Gay Park concession or by emailing Cara at b-cfischer@shaw.ca.

Money raised will help offset the cost of Aiden's care at B.C. Children's Hospital.

Financial donations for the Borne family can also be made through GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/28xna2c
