A BCHL standout who led the Penticton Vees to back-to-back Fred Page Cup titles is in the running to wear the red and white maple leaf this holiday season.
Bradly Nadeau has been invited to CanadaÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s National Junior Team selection camp, which takes place in Ottawa from Dec. 10 to 13.
The 19-year-old forward is one of 32 skaters to attend the camp ahead of the 2025 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship, set to begin on Boxing Day.
Nadeau spent two seasons with the Vees from 2021 to 2023, winning two BCHL championships and posting 159 points in 103 regular-season games. The New Brunswick-born product also won the league's MVP award in 2023 while suiting up for Penticton.
The 5Ï㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™11, 172-pound winger was later selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the first round of the 2023 NHL draft, before playing for the University of Maine during the 2023-2024 campaign.
Nadeau is currently in his first year of professional hockey. The forward has nine points in 17 games with the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves, the HurricanesÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™ AHL affiliate.
Ottawa hosts the 2025 World Junior Hockey Championship, as Canada looks to bounce back after walking away from last year's tournament empty-handed.
The United States captured gold at the event in 2024.
