Logan CooleyÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s third-period goal stood up as the winner, lifting the visiting Utah Hockey Club to a 3-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks Sunday night at Rogers Arena.
Kevin Stenlund and Clayton Keller also scored for Utah (30-26-11), while captain Quinn Hughes tallied for the Canucks (31-25-11).
Karel Vejmelka made 18 saves to earn the goaltending win, while Kevin Lankinen made 20 saves for Vancouver.

With the win, Utah climbed within two points of the Canucks and St. Louis Blues in the battle for the second and final NHL Western Conference wildcard slot.
After a scoreless first period, Hughes opened the scoring on the power play 2:37 into the second when his point shot deflected in off UtahÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s Mikhail Sergachev. Hughes has 16 goals on the season.
Stenlund pulled Utah even at 12:04 of the second, converting a pass from Nick Bjugstad.
CooleyÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s winner came at 5:08 of the third period, when he slotted home a point shot that deflected off a body in front of Lankinen.

Keller sealed things with an empty-net goal with 30 seconds remaining.
Vancouver hosts the Winnipeg Jets Tuesday (7 p.m.), while Utah visits the Edmonton Oilers, also on Tuesday.
