Philip Broberg scored the winner in overtime, lifting the St. Louis Blues to a 4-3 win over the visiting Vancouver Canucks in NHL action Thursday night.
Broberg converted a pass from Brayden Schenn and slipped a backhand shot past Vancouver goalie Kevin Lankinen to give the Blues the victory.
Dylan Holloway, Tyler Tucker and Zack Bolduc also scored for St. Louis (35-28-7), while Brock Boeser (2) and Kiefer Sherwood replied for the Canucks (32-26-11). Jordan Binnington earned the win in goal, making 15 stops. Lankinen made 25 saves and took the loss.
With the win, the Blues moved one point up on the Canucks in the battle for the final wildcard slot in the NHL香蕉视频直播檚 Western Conference.
The Blues carried play in the first period, holding a 12-3 advantage in shots on goal but neither team could find the scoresheet.
Bolduc opened the scoring 15:47 into the second period, floating a point shot that was deflected past Lankinen.
Sherwood pulled the Canucks even at 1-1 just 1:11 into the third period, with his shot from the right circle eluding Binnington. Sherwood now has 15 goals on the season.

At 6:35, Boeser gave the Canucks a 2-1 lead, firing a shot from the right wing past Binnington for his 200th career goal. Boeser now has 22 goals on the year and four in his last two games.
Tucker evened the score at 2-2 9:28 into the period, when his long shot off a faceoff win from Schenn found its way past Lankinen.
Just 24 seconds later, Holloway made it 3-2, driving the net and finishing off a pass from Jordan Kyrou.
With less than four seconds left in regulation time, Boeser made it 3-3, taking a cross-ice feed from centre Elias Pettersson and ripping a shot past Binnington.
The Canucks continue their six-game road swing Saturday in New York (10 a.m.) against the Rangers. St. Louis hosts the Chicago Blackhawks Saturday (noon).
