Lake Country RCMP continue to investigate a fire that sparked early Monday morning in Carr香蕉视频直播檚 Landing.

On July 3 shortly after 1 a.m., the RCMP and the Lake Country Fire Department were a wildfire in the 2700 block of Carrs Landing Road.

A nearby resident told police that he smelt smoke and exited his home to investigate.

After spotting the fire, he called 911 and then grabbed tools to battle the blaze himself.

香蕉视频直播淔irefighters with the Lake Country Volunteer Fire Department worked quickly to build fire guards and get the blaze under control, before it spread into the dry forest or nearby homes,香蕉视频直播� said Cpl. Jesse O香蕉视频直播橠onaghey.

The blaze was estimated to be less than a hectare in size and is currently under investigating.

Police believe that the fire quickly spread from its point of origin, which was in the ditch parallel to the east side of the roadway.
