Highway 1 is closed 24 kilometres east of Sicamous due to a vehicle incident. (DriveBC)

Update: 2:30 p.m.

Highway 1 east of Sicamous has been cleared. The highway is open in both directions.

Original story:

A vehicle incident has closed Highway 1 east of Sicamous.

DriveBC reports an incident at Prosh Frontage, 24 kilometres east of Sicamous, has closed the Trans Canada highway in both directions.

There is no detour available.
