Up to eight departing flights at YLW are delayed and one is cancelled.

In total, seven flights have been affected at YLW so far on Wednesday, Jan. 17. Five have been delayed while two others have been cancelled.
For , four flights have been cancelled, one is delayed, and four are late.
The forecast is calling for snow and low temperatures across the province. YLW is experiencing some flight delays and/or cancellations due to these forecasted conditions. Please check with your airline for updated flight information.

As snow blankets the province on Wednesday, airline travel has already been affected in Kelowna.
At 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 17, three early morning departing flights at the Kelowna International Airport (YLW) have been cancelled. Two of the flights were going to Vancouver (YVR) while the third was going to Victoria.
The same can be said the other way though as two flights from Vancouver and one flight from Victoria that were supposed to come to Kelowna have also been cancelled.
For the departures at YLW, the 11:25 a.m. plane to Vancouver as also been cancelled while an afternoon flight, also to Vancouver, scheduled to leave at 12:45 p.m. has been delayed to 1:43 p.m.
A flight to Edmonton has been delayed from itÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s original time of 9:55 a.m. to 11:42 a.m. However, this plane is delayed because the arriving plane is late.
An afternoon flight from Vancouver scheduled to land in Kelowna at 2:14 p.m. this afternoon has also been cancelled.
All other flights either departing or arriving are on time at this time. Black Press Media will keep up on the situation throughout the day.
The majority of the Okanagan and the Lower Mainland are expecting 15-20 cm of snow throughout the day.
