Shuswap Avenue has been cleared following a crash that closed the route in Chase this afternoon.

Highway 1 is closed in both directions after a vehicle incident at the east end of Chase.
Just after 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, emergency crews responded to a collision near Shuswap Avenue, the same area that has been having intermittent closures due to blasting and construction work taking place there.
In a post reporting the incident, DriveBC advised drivers to watch for and obey construction workers.
