A key forward is on the way back to Kelowna to join his Rockets teammates.
Hiroki Gojsic has been returned to the team after attending Nashville Predators training camp.
Selected by Nashville in the third round (94th overall) in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft, Gojsic appeared in one preseason game for the Predators, where he played 12:10 and was a -1. He also registered one shot on goal and two hits.
While at training camp, the 18-year-old also signed on the dotted line, putting pen to paper on his three-year entry-level deal with Nashville.
Gojsic will bring a scoring punch to the Rockets lineup as last season he had 50 points (21 goals, 29 assists) in 68 games.
The Langley product is expected to be back in the lineup on Friday night (Sept. 27) as the Rockets welcome the Victoria Royals to Prospera Place. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m.
