Ellison Fire Chief David Bates said it appears someone was outside of the RV trailer when the fire started and they tried to put water on the flames before crews arrived.
When firefighters got to the scene, visible smoke and flame were coming from the trailer.

The resident and the dogs left the scene before fire crews arrived and Bates did not have an update on their condition.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
UPDATE: 11:09 a.m.
Smoke and flame could still be seen coming from an RV trailer at 4851 Rockface Road in Ellison when fire crews arrived on scene.
However, crews were able to quickly knock down the fire.
Two Ellison Fire Department trucks responded to the scene along with about 10 firefighters.
At least one person has been taken to hospital with smoke inhalation. It's believed the dogs may also need emergency veterinarian care.
A large propane tank was also close to the RV trailer at the time of the fire, which was cause for concern.
The RV suffered serious damage in the incident.
