UPDATE: 4:45 p.m: A man who was reported missing on Okanagan Mountain Park has been found. 

The individual was located using a RCMP helicopter. According to a Facebook post by Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR), the man was on a hike near Buchan Bay late Saturday night when he fell and was unable to return to camp. 

Penticton Search and Rescue were able to find and safely transport him via helicopter. He has numerous injuries and is currently getting treatment. 

ORIGINAL: Central Okanagan Search and Rescue is currently searching Okanagan Mountain Park for a missing man. 

The news was posted to Facebook around 1:30 p.m. today, Aug. 11. 

The individual was last seen near Buchan Bay. 

Crews are searching by ground, boat, and air. 

The identity of the missing person and incidents surrounding their disappearance has not been provided.
