Minor delays expected on Westside Road Thursday due to construction

Construction will take place on Westside Road for six hours on Thursday, Jan. 30.(DriveBC)

If Westside Road is part of your daily commute, minor delays can be expected north of Trader's Cove.

According to DriveBC, minor construction will be taking place on a 6.2 kilometre stretch of the road from Traders Cove Road and Jenny Creek Road, starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30.

Because of this, single-lane alternating traffic will be in effect. 

Construction will be ongoing until 3 p.m.
