More than 1,000 FortisBC customers are without power in the Pandosy area of Kelowna.
Lights went out at about 12:30 p.m.
The cause of the outage is not known.
FortisBC is working to repair the power, however, there is no estimated time of restoration.
The area affected includes the area south of Highway 97 to Cadder Avenue, the Kelowna General Hospital is not impacted.
