The shocking deaths of two people in Kelowna in March garnered much attention from Capital News readers.
RCMP confirmed two people died in an altercation following a police standoff at a business on the 100-block of Adams Road, on March 27.
RCMP and tactical units including the Emergency Response Team surrounded a building on Adam's Road and closed Highway 97, for several hours.
During the standoff, a fire was started inside the building.
While the cause of the fire, and the nature of the incident have not been made public by police, Jacqueline Kofoed took to Facebook to say that her brother, Jeremy Kofoed, was shot and killed at Adventure Trucks during the incident.

The Kelowna RCMP assured the public that the incident poses no threat to the public.
The Kelowna Serious Crimes Unit took over the investigation, in partnership with the BC Coroners Service.
