Update: 11:15 p.m.
With 201 of 203 polls reporting in the Kelowna riding--there is no clear winner.
So far, Conservative Tracy Gray has garnered 25,715 votes while Liberal Stephen Fuhr collected 25,781 ballots. A difference of 66 votes as of 11 p.m., April 28.
While she did make an election night speech, Gray did not take questions from the media.
"It looks like it's going to be a long night, but I wanted to thank all of you for being here," Gray told the crowd of approximately 60 supporters. "First of all I have to start with thanking my family, my son Daniel and my husband Larry and everything that they've done."
Gray also showed appreciation for her campaign team and volunteers.
"I just want to thank everyone," she added. "It's been such an honour to have been on this journey with you. Before this campaign many of you were we're part of our family, and now there's many more people here that are part of our family."
The close race was not lost on Fuhr.
"I think there's no scenario where this is not going to be a recount," he told his roughly 150 supporters. "I don't know all the rules around it, but it is so close. I would rather be 66 votes ahead than 66 votes behind."
Fuhr thanked his campaign team, and those who supported him from other parties including former B.C. Green Leader Andrew Weaver, former B.C. Premier Christy Clark, and former Prime Minister Jean Chretien.
"I had very good, cross party support," he said. "This is really a time for me to thank everybody regardless of the outcome, I'm hoping this is gonna be positive for us. It is a massive undertaking in a ride like this to have the result that we got, win or lose, it will be on the margins."
Mail-in ballots are still to be counted for the riding, however, that may or may not significantly change the outcome.
According to Elections Canada if there is a tie or a close vote, the ballots need to be counted again in a judicial recount.
NDP candidate Trevor McAleese is currently in third with 2,121 votes (3.9 per cent), and the Green Party's Catriona Wright is in fourth with 545 ballots (1 per cent).
