The person behind the Kelowna Rockets press releases, social media, and much more is heading to the bright lights of the NHL.

After five and a half years as the team's communications and social media director, Paige Bednorz has stepped down from her role to join the Edmonton Oilers digital team.

Bednorz interned with the team during the 2016-17 season. After a year with a marketing agency, she returned to the Rockets during the 2018-19 season.
