A Kelowna woman and a local organization have been recognized by the Heritage BC Awards for their roles in heritage-related work.
The Kelowna Italian Canadian Club was recognized for La Nostra Famiglia Italiana Projects: Our Legacy and The Casorsos: La Prima Famiglia Documentary in the category of education and awareness.

The Kelowna Italian Canadian Club and Campbell received the awards during a ceremony in Nelson on May 2. A total of 21 awards were presented to groups and individuals across the province.
