Kelowna ranked as the seventh most generous community in Canada for 2024, according to GoFundMe.

Kelowna residents made more than 7,600 donations. With a population of over 144,500, that translates to a donor rate of 5.3 percent per capita.

For the second year in a row, Victoria claimed the top spot with over 19,500 donations. Five British Columbia cities were included in the top ten.

The most generous Canadian communities in 2024, as ranked by GoFundMe, are:
