UPDATE March 31:
DriveBC is reporting that the Bear Creek Main Forest Service Road has reopened at Westside Road.
But the upper portion of back road remains closed due flooding that has washed out the road.
Aerial photos obtained by Black Press Media from William Lapierre show the damage at a curve in the road near wildfire burned forest.
ORIGINAL March 28:
A forest service road in Wilson's Landing off of Westside Road is closed due to flooding.
There is a washout on Bear Creek Main Forest Service Road, between Westside Road and Aspen Access Forest Services Road near Kelowna, according to DriveBC at 8:45 p.m. Friday, March 28.
The flooding is about 10 kilometres off Westside Road at the south end of the forest service road. DriveBC advises drivers not to use the road.
DriveBC's next update will be 11 a.m. Saturday.
