To the editor:
I find myself in ire regarding recent political posts engaging spitefulness regarding Islam and the middle east.
Bill 103, thus poorly named, should bring to light 香蕉视频直播渢he need to quell the increasing public climate of hate and fear香蕉视频直播 surrounding Islam, and (recent) letters generalize radical Islam with a category of a peaceful identifiable group of people who have been living in Canada for generations. I would suggest you get the facts right, and avoid over the top innuendo based upon moralistic bigotry.
I香蕉视频直播檝e read nothing but feigned ignorance. Islam is not the only religion responsible for the killing of millions (try googling the Holy Crusades), and their faith is not singled out as orchestrated by Mr. Lloyd Vinish (Try leading on behalf of all Canadians, Capital News, Feb. 24, 2017).
The House of Commons has denounced hatred against other groups, including Jews, Yazidis and Egyptian Coptic Christians and it is very clearly stated in the Canadian criminal code that inciting hatred against any identifiable group is an indictable offence.
I sympathize with Ms. Iqra Khalid, to face prejudice on such a degree that she receives death threats simply due to her religion, or the colour of her skin. Such partisan bickering has no place here in Canada.
