Sophie Grégoire Trudeau will be at the brand new Kelowna Event Centre on Wednesday, April 2.

A new venue in Kelowna has secured its first major booking as Sophie Grégoire Trudeau is coming to town.

The former wife of ex-Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Sophie is coming to Kelowna on Wednesday, April 2 to tell her story, share insights, untold moments, and talk about her time in the public eye.

"Attendees will enjoy a thought-provoking fireside chat, an intimate meet-and-greet, and an elevated networking experience featuring fine wine, gourmet desserts, and a gathering of Kelowna㽶Ƶֱs top entrepreneurs and business leaders," stated a press release from the Kelowna Foodie Hub, who is hosting the event.

Sophie is a former journalist and television host and advocates for mental health, women's empowerment, and gender equality. She's also worked with Global organizations like the WE Movement, Plan International Canada, and the Canadian Mental Health Association.

"We are thrilled to welcome Sophie Trudeau as the headline guest for our first event at the Kelowna Event Centre,㽶Ƶֱ said John Perks, co-founder of Show Off Expos. 㽶ƵֱThis venue was created to elevate Kelowna㽶Ƶֱs event landscape, and what better way to introduce it than with an evening of empowerment, thought-provoking conversations, and meaningful networking.㽶Ƶֱ

This occasion is first ever event at the new Kelowna Event Centre, located at 2041 Harvey Avenue. 

Tickets are $49.99 and on sale on the Show Off Expos . There is a meet and greet opportunity available for $300.
