Hawksley Workman is working his way back to Salmon Arm.
The singer-songwriter, who rocketed to fame on the Canadian music scene with the release of his second album, (Last Night We Were) The Delicious Wolves (2001), and hits including Jealous of Your Cigarette and Striptease, is booked to play Song Sparrow Hall on Sunday, Nov. 3. The show is being presented by the Salmon Arm Folk Music Society (SAFMS).
One of the musicians among the stellar 2006 ROOTSandBLUES Festival lineup, Workman was set to play the 2023 festival but the event was cancelled after the first day due to wildfire.
The SAFMS and its artistic director Kevin Tobin announced Tuesday, April 9, that Workman is primed to return to Salmon Arm, with a show rooted in a catalogue of 17 solo records, 香蕉视频直播渋ncluding everything from major label international smash hits to Canadiana-soaked indie releases.香蕉视频直播

The JUNO Award-winning and gold record-certified singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist has headlined shows at prestigious venues like Toronto香蕉视频直播檚 Massey Hall and The Olympia in Paris, reads the release.

Before Workman香蕉视频直播檚 concert, SAFMS staff are hard at work preparing for the 32nd annual ROOTSandBLUES Festival, July 26-28. Advanced pricing tickets are now available, and camping is nearly sold out.
