Temperatures might have dropped and the snow might be flying, but dining out in the Okanagan just got a whole lot easier - despite the weather.
Dine Around 2024, served up its annual launch party on Jan. 16, with 12 different restaurants dishing out tasting bites paired with local wine and craft beer.
The event took place at Metro Hub in downtown Kelowna and it was the first year that catered to those participating in Dry January.
SOBAR was in attendance pouring zero-proof wines and drinks for those wanting to stay sober this season.
The launch party was a chance to sample some of the food and drinks that will be offered during Dine Around which runs from Jan. 17 to Feb. 11.
Dine Around boasts a variety of dining experiences with fixed-price menus, offering three courses ranging from $25 to $65 at participating restaurants.
This culinary journey offers foodies a chance to try new restaurants without breaking the bank.
In the Okanagan, there are more than 100 participating restaurants serving up everything from burgers to pizza, to steaks and vegetarian menus.
Those in the Central and South Okanagan as well as the Kamloops area can go on a tasty adventure during this cold spell.
For those looking to make a night of it, local hotels are joining the feast by offering exclusive Dine Around and Stay packages.
