Pam Turgeon has turned her Kelowna house into Auggie's Christmas Home in memory of her mom and in support of the Central Okanagan Hospice Association with the Homes for the Holidays fundraiser.

Pam Turgeon is one of six homeowners in the Central Okanagan who is welcoming people in to check out her holiday decor in support of the Central Okanagan Hospice Association.

In Kelowna's Kettle Valley, Auggie's Christmas Home has a decorated tree in nearly every room of her home awaiting ticketed guests coming to tour on Nov. 16 as part of Homes for the Holidays.

Turgeon named the display after her mom Auggie who instilled a love of the holiday season in her at a young age.

"I have such fond memories of my mom welcoming everybody in her home at Christmas," Turgeon said.

The wife, mom, and business owner said she's been involved in many charities over the years and decided to add the hospice association to the roster.

"Somebody in our lives is going to use hospice if not myself or my husband or other people we know. We're all aging and I think that down the road we're going to need it."

Turgeon's home is one of three in Kelowna on the self-guided tour, the other three stops being in West Kelowna. Exact locations are only released to ticket holders.
