Even heroes need help.
The Shuswap is rallying behind RCMP Const. Adam Poitras in the aftermath of a single-vehicle motorbike collision in which he suffered a significant head injury. He was taken to the Kelowna General Hospital after the May 9 crash near Enderby, and remains in the intensive care unit there.
As he now faces a long road to recovery from what they say are 香蕉视频直播渕ultiple brain bleeds and intracranial swelling,香蕉视频直播 BC Emergency Health Services paramedics at Salmon Arm Station 332 香蕉视频直播 where Poitras香蕉视频直播 wife Lisa works 香蕉视频直播 have started a fundraiser to help the family.
With 香蕉视频直播渙ne of our own香蕉视频直播 laid up in hospital, Sicamous RCMP Sgt. Murray McNeil said the detachment, where Poitras has been stationed for about a year, is also offering support.

He香蕉视频直播檚 got a great personality, he香蕉视频直播檚 kind of a larger than life guy香蕉视频直播 香蕉视频直播 he said of Poitras. 香蕉视频直播淪o we香蕉视频直播檙e all quite upset that he香蕉视频直播檚 in this condition, but he香蕉视频直播檚 definitely a fighter.香蕉视频直播
McNeil added that Poitras is making some progress in his recovery and has been able to talk to his wife and brother 香蕉视频直播渟o there香蕉视频直播檚 been some positive signs.香蕉视频直播
To ensure that all funds raised go to the family rather a fundraising service香蕉视频直播檚 fees, Salmon Arm paramedics are collecting donations directly in cash at the 332 station, or by e-transfer to FST@telus.net referencing Adam Fundraiser.
