PHOTOS: Kelowna's inaugural Women's Expo draws in hundreds

The Women's Expo is expected to become an annual event

Kelowna's MNP Place was a venue celebrating women on Sept. 22.

The first Women's Expo was hosted from noon to 5 p.m. with an estimated 200 vendors.

Show host Vanessa Miskuski said there was a little bit of everything.

"We [had] a stage going all day long with 26 different performers, speakers, entertainers, musicians."

Vendors included everything from clothing and accessories to food and fitness.

Over $20,000 worth in door prizes were handed out to a number of lucky attendees.

Miskuski is hoping to make the expo an annual event for women and their families.
