The small community of Fintry will be opening their doors for a unique art show this weekend.
The Fintry Fusion Art Show and sale will feature 10 Okanagan artists, who will proudly display their work for sale.
All 10 artists be on-site to answer questions and give demonstrations and selected pieces will be available for purchase.
Hosted at the Fintry Manor House, the two-day event will have strawberry cream tea and soup available for purchase, while live music regales the attendees.
An open-house for self-guided tours of the 115-year-old Manor House will also be available. It is one of four structures on the Canadian Register of historic places.
The house is located at 7655 Fintry Delta Rd., and the event will take place June 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"The Fintry Packing House is the only surviving one of its kind and is where the sternwheelers on the lake would dock to load the products of Fintry," according to Marg Curley.
"There is much more to see and makes the short 45-minute drive from Vernon or Kelowna a very rewarding and fun excursion."
