The Fraternal Order of Eagles has once again stepped up to help improve health care across the South Okanagan and Similkameen.
Penticton香蕉视频直播檚 chapter of the North America-wide, 126-year-old group recently donated $12,000 to the Penticton Regional Hospital.
Ian Lindsay, CEO of the South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation, was presented a cheque on Friday, May 10, at the Eagles香蕉视频直播 local building at 1197 Main Street.
According to a press release, a portion of the $12,000 will be directed toward the SOS Medical Foundation香蕉视频直播檚 $10 million oncology clinic campaign. Meanwhile, the remainder of the money will be distributed across various departments at the Penticton Regional Hospital.

The medical foundation has been working to raise $10 million for an expanded oncology department, which will be located on the third floor of the Penticton hospital.
As of this spring, the foundation is more than halfway toward its fundraising goal.
The City of Penticton earlier this spring issued building permits for the department香蕉视频直播檚 renovations, which are expected to be complete by May 2025.
Interior Health says it will have 11 treatment bays, four ambulatory care treatment bays, four exam/consult rooms, and more space for equipment, supplies, medications and staff workspace.
