With Thanksgiving nearly a month away, the BC Thanksgiving Food Drive (BCTFD) is set to warm up homes in Lake Country.

Every year, the BCTFD goes around to more than 100 B.C. communities to collect food and monetary donations to help those in need during the holiday season. This year is the 18th annual event and it's taking place in Lake Country on Saturday, Sept. 21.

香蕉视频直播淢any individuals in Lake Country face food shortages, which leaves them and their children without adequate meals and proper nutrition,香蕉视频直播 said organizers of the event. "The drive helps fill shelves and provide needed monetary donations for the Lake Country Food Bank."

From Sept. 16-19, donation flyers and bags will be dropped off around homes in Lake Country. Residents are invited to fill up the bags with non-perishable food items and leave them out to be collected on Saturday, Sept. 21, starting at 9 a.m.

If a donation bag isn't dropped off at your residence, BCTFD volunteers will be set-up to take donations at the Lake Country Save-On-Foods on Sept. 19 and 20.

香蕉视频直播淲e are thankful for your generosity. Your food and monetary donations play a vital role in combating food insecurity in Lake Country,香蕉视频直播 said the BCTFD.
